Questions
The things worth knowing before you begin.
Short questions. Direct answers.
- What does one email get me?
- Every free piece in the library, permanently. Not one at a time. You give an email once, on whichever free piece you happen to land on first, and every other free piece opens with no gate and no second ask.
- What costs money, and why?
- The Standard and Premium guides, and the six books. Those are the long-form work — the pieces that take a pattern apart all the way down. The free pieces are complete pieces, not samples, but the paid work is where the frameworks live.
- Where should I start?
- The Yard. It is where this whole thing started, and it explains the posture everything else is written from. After that, follow wherever it points you.
- Do I have to read these in order?
- No. The library is built to be entered anywhere. Each piece stands on its own, and each one points to two others worth reading next. Move between categories freely — nothing here is meant to be read in sequence.
- Who is this for?
- The man who believes his judgment can be improved. He may have the rest of it handled — career, money, discipline. What he lacks is a framework capable of surviving attraction. This is not for the man looking for dating advice.
- Is this for women too?
- Plenty of women read it, often for a man in their life — a son, a brother, a friend. Nothing here changes for that. The writing is addressed to men, and it does not flatter or blame anyone.
- What is this not?
- Not pickup, not grievance, not therapy language, not generic self-help. The full accounting of what we are and what we are not is on the About page.
- How do I leave a review?
- Pick the piece you read and say what stayed with you. Specific beats glowing — a line, a moment, the thing it gave you language for.
- How do I reach you?
- hello@cleareyedman.com. It comes to me — the man who wrote all of this. I read every one. Depending on volume a reply can take a few days, but you will get one.
